On Thursday May 9, 2013, Make-A-Wish® Suffolk County, NY celebrated its 30th anniversary at their annual spring dinner “Bouquet of Wishes.” The event was held at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook, NY with over 700 guests in attendance. We were happy to work with Make-A-Wish® Suffolk County's President & CEO Karine Hollander and donate the flowers for such a great cause. In keeping with the event’s name, tables were decorated with 80 centerpieces consisting of over 2,000 assorted roses and pussy willow branches. During the evening, an amazing wish was granted to Ryan, 12, from Centereach, NY, who wishes to fly in a World War II P51 Mustang airplane. The heartwarming surprise on Ryan’s face when three US Air Force pilots entered the room to salute him and call him to duty was especially moving. Ryan’s wish was not the only wish granted; the proceeds from this event will help grant many more wishes to local children like Ryan!

On May 3rd 2012 The Women’s Committee held its 30th Annual Frederick Law Olmstead Awards Luncheon at the Central Park Conservancy in NYC. Every year the event raises millions of dollars which is used to maintain Central Parks 843 acre landscape. This year, we were lucky enough to work with Andrew Pascoe LTD. who provided the beautiful florals and decor for the FLO Awards, which helped raise over $6 Million to support this cause. The funds raised will be used to plant flowers, trees, and shrubs throughout Central Park so people around the world can continue to enjoy the beautiful landscape here in New York.
